Born and raised in Columbus Ohio, Mike attended OSU after graduating from Whetstone High school. In 1981 he moved to Southwest Florida where he began working in the tennis industry while also competing in many USTA, USPTA and Open tennis events. In 1984 and 1985, Mike travelled throughout the United States competing on The USTA Satellite circuit. Mike was the Director of Tennis and Pickleball at Heritage Palms Golf and Country Club for the past 24 years. He still competes in the Fort Myers Pro league locally and loves to play golf on his off time.
