So Long, 2024!
It's hard to believe that we have almost reached the end of another turn around the sun. Luckily, another sunny season is just getting underway here at Olde Cypress. 😎 Before we swing into a bright new 2025, indulge us while we tee up some of our favorite memories from the past year.
I January: We hosted the Stock Cup, "a combo pickleball and tennis tourney between The Club at Olde Cypress and The Players Club and Spa [that] was a smash hit"
In February: The Men's Tradition was the talk of the club. Two talented members (Mr. Ed Boutet and Mr. Peter Presperin) took home the coveted trophies!
In March: Our inaugural March Madness Bocce Tournament was a rousing success.
In April: Our beautiful city was named #1 by Club Estates. And we think The Club at Olde Cypress is #1 among the golf courses in Naples FL!
In May: Brad Haynes celebrated his 13th year with Olde Cypress! What a milestone 👏
In June: Our junior members had a blast at camp. "From morning golf to swim and a little tennis action to follow … these campers sure know how to enjoy their summer!"
In July: Gary Shea & David Adkins played in the Southwest Chapter PGA, Pro-Superintendent Golf Tournament and took home 1st place!
In August: Ken Lanigan celebrated an incredible 25 years with The Club at Olde Cypress. We are so very lucky to have his leadership guide our team!
In September: We went wild for National Wildlife Day ;) It is a treat to see all of the "incredible creatures that share our beautiful grounds."
In October: We welcomed Bryan Gazella to the team 🎉 If you have wellness goals on your list for the new year, Bryan is here to help!
In November: The season kicked off and we kicked up some dust on the dance floor at our Rockin' '50s Party.
In December: You know we're going to welcome 2025 in style at our fabulous New Year's Eve Celebration! Can't wait to see you there 🥂
This coming year will be one for the record books, with an exciting renovation in the works and plenty of plans to surprise and delight our members. We've chosen a decades theme for the first few parties of 2025 so get ready to don your most cherished costumes. 🎭
