Books are a uniquely portable magic
(Stephen King)
Need a little more magic in your life?🪄 There's a book club for that! Olde Cypress members love to use reading as a way to learn, share and connect. Both the Book Club and the Non-Fiction Book Club have published their spring schedules so you can see if any titles strike your fancy. Each club meets once a month and gathers for lunch before or after their discussion. You can reserve a spot if you'd like to join by sending an email HERE.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game
(Grantland Rice)
We know you're never too old to play! The Club at Olde Cypress has a number of weekly games for members. According to Joyce Mikal-Flynn, a nurse practitioner and neuroscience professor at Sacramento State University, "Board games, card games, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and matching games — all are creative and fun, which support brain health and wellness. That's fun that helps you flourish!💪
If you're a lady who knows her Mah Jongg, we'd love to see you on Mondays & Wednesdays at 12:30pm in the Players Lounge (1st Floor).

Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience.
(Ralph Waldo Emerson)
The Olde Cypress social calendar can get pretty packed! Sometimes it's nice to take a moment to pause and reflect. And where better than in nature to do just that? On the morning of April 3, we will be hosting a Nature Tour focused on the beautiful birds and wildlife that call our club home. Set your alarm because you won't want to miss this sunrise session!🌅
As the seasons change (from sunny to even sunnier!), you might have a little extra spring in your step. The Club at Olde Cypress has plenty of activities to keep you feeling sharp and social, with more options perennially cropping up.🌷🪻
